I ordered a size up after reading the reviews. I like the color and that the hoodie seems to be well made. However, compared to the last Hanes hoodie I purchased several years ago, the overall quality has slipped. The fabric is a 50-50 cotton=poly blend. It pills after washing on the outside, and the slightly fuzzy inside lining sheds terribly. The first time I wore it, my shirt was covered in fluffy stuff, and that has continued despite washing. I wore it while eating pho soup for lunch and a few little drips got on the front of my hoodie. The cheap fabric holds onto stains. I pre-washed those drips with dish detergent immediately when I got home. Then I followed up the next day with pre-treatment and two cycles in the washing machine on stain removal cycle. Those little drips still show up as dark spots in direct sunlight. I will continue to wear it because it's warm and comfortable, but I'm disappointed by the cheap fabric that sheds, pills and hold onto stains.

Sublimely comfortable and soft and the purple color is amazing. I got it to be an overlarge lounge hoodie and thus ordered up in size and it works wonderfully for that. My only gripe are the kangaroo pockets, which I think are a bad design on any item since hands/wrists are left partially exposed due to the needed stretch/angle of entry and items easily fall out (like cell phones) because they are shallow. Would be perfect with side pockets. If you don't care too much about the pockets, this is a great choice.

Best for cool fall weather but not cold or very cold depending upon your own body temperature of course and what you wear underneath. Zips up and down easily, which is a plus. Violet and blue colors are good. For polyesters avoid washing as long as you can and then use cold water and mild or no detergent to help prevent color loss and shrinking or bunching up zipper issues.

The item is well made. The sizing has changed. I used to be able to wear 2X. The clothing runs very small now. I would suggest going up a size. I ordered a 3X. It fits very well without looking too baggy. I wash this and hang it up or use the low setting on the dryer. High temperature drying will shrink it.
