The Hellmans brand is in crisis. Review after review has the same complaint as me: this is not the same product I’ve been super loyal to for decades. Hellmans is so iconic that it’s included by name in my family’s heirloom potato salad recipe passed down 3 generations. It is so runny now. Bring back the fluffy, almost jiggly thick mayonnaise. People are giving you legitimate feedback and you’re just gaslighting that the recipe hasn’t changed. Well your product/QC managers better hustle up and figure out the source of this problem because the last two to three jars I’ve purchased are off. I need thick mayonnaise for my recipes to work—goopy, liquidy does not create the right texture. It’s as if the recipe contains more water than previous. Maybe your suppliers are messing with you. Get into the stores and taste your own product for gods sake! If your jars in Englewood Cliffs are the same as years past then come to Colorado where I am if you have to, where I know it’s poor quality/changed product. Sad that you’re not taking your loyal customers seriously. If you admitted, we are getting complaints and investigating asap and taking this seriously, I would stick around. But I’m going store brand mayonnaise and not returning to Hellmans until your review section demonstrates this has been sorted out.

This Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise is made with cage-free eggs and the bottle is made from 100% recycled plastic, I got the 5.5 fl oz squeeze bottle so it’s very small, only 11 servings technically, I recommend getting a larger jar or bottle. Because this mayonnaise is so good! I grew up on Hellman’s and no other mayonnaise will do, for me. Ingredients include soybean oil, water, whole eggs, distilled vinegar, egg yolks, salt, sugar, lemon juice concentrate, calcium disodium EDTA (used to protect quality), and natural flavors. It is made with ingredients derived from a bioengineered source, it lists a website where you can learn more - learnaboutmyfood.com. This mayonnaise has an informative label that tells you all you need to know! And the bottle is so convenient, instead of dipping a knife that might be used for other foods too in a jar, you can easily squeeze out the mayonnaise and spread it. I mostly enjoy this on sandwiches of all kinds, burgers, hot dogs, and I like to dip fries in a combination of mayonnaise and ketchup (especially sweet potato fries). The flavor is mild and pleasant and the texture is creamy, it’s the perfect condiment to use on sandwiches and the like to make them less dry and hold them together better.

I absolutely love Hellman's Best Foods Mayonnaise and here is why.. not only did I grow up eating this delicious mayonnaise from which my grandma, mom and all of my aunts proudly served it with all of their prized family recipes whether it was a chocolate cake, chicken salad, the family favorite potato salad or macaroni salad and they even mixed this wonderful mayonnaise with fresh herbs to cook the thanksgiving turkey with. The mayonnaise made the turkey so moist and extra delicious!! I have tried other mayonnaise out there and I always come back to Hellman's because nothing truly compares to the flavor, the creaminess and texture that this mayonnaise adds to anything and everything that it is paired with!! Hellman's Mayonnaise is truly the absolute best mayonnaise in my opinion and in the opinion of all of my family that cooks and enjoys good food, this is the only mayonnaise that goes into our family recipes!! Hands down great ingredients and a taste that can't be beat!! I recommend this creamy mayonnaise to anyone that needs a little extra something for their favorite foods, it's great on everything, not such a sandwich spread!! Hellman's mayonnaise makes the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever had, just a little bit on each slice of bread add your preferred cheese and grill like usual, it's so good!! Go buy a jar of Hellman's and start creating some great recipes with the Best mayonnaise ever!!

Hellman's Real Mayo should have it's own food group!
There's no other mayo in my world. I've been using it for decades, nearly every day of the week. If I'm baking cakes but out of eggs and/or butter or oil, I replace them with Hellman's Real. Hellman's mayo is a big part of my chicken, tuna, and egg salad recipes(add a little plain yogurt or sour cream along with the mayo in the chicken or Sesame Ginger in the Tuna).

It's fun to try the new varieties & find creative ways or enhance them. You might mix together a version you really like, but one of the family finds it intense for their - I did that with the Chipotle. How something different for dipping chicken nuggets: mix, say Roasted Garlic or Sriracha, or Sesame Ginger with the Vegan or Olive Oil version. I mix a couple with lemon or lime juice to use as a condiment for fish. Don't even get me started on change-ups to dip even French fries. I've used Hellman's to rub on fish or chicken pieces before coating them in Panko/breadcrumbs, then bake (Tilapia's a fave here). P.S. If there's a scratch on wood furniture, get out your Hellman's Real (it works great!); and don't forget that it's a good treatment for dry hair, too!
